Actor Comics Presents: Volume 1, #1, published by Century Comics, fall 2006. 6 page story entitled "Hypothetical Cerebus", written by T. Casey Brennan with art by Dave.
AARGH! (1988): Published by Mad Love Publishing (Alan Moore's company), Oct. 1988, to benefit the Organization for Lesbian and Gay Action. A 72 page book with a contribution by Sim & Gerhard: "An Untold Tale of the Secret Sacred Wars", 4 pages. AARGH! Stands for Artists Against Rampant Government Homophobia
Ali Baba, Scourge of the Desert #1: 1992, from Gauntlet Comics, "The Fate of the Fire Gems" Co-plot, co-script and layouts - 8 pages, "Ali-Baba: Recollections" a one page essay, and cover layouts (pencils by Dale Keown)
Awakening Comics #1: "Dave drew one panel of a jam comic that was passed around at the 1996 Montreal Spirits of Independence Con"
BLIP: The Book of Little Independent Publishers: 72 pages, B&W. A sampler book that offers 13 four page stories. Each section is forwarded by a text page introducing the creator and their current project. Dave Sim and Michael Cohen did a jam story entitled "The Caretaker" wherein Michael did the first panel and faxed it to Dave who did the second panel, back and forth until the entire story was completed.
Captain Canuck #4: (1976) Published by Comely Comics, 36 pages. Has a half page strip reprint of Sim's The Beavers.
Captain Canuck Summer Special #1: (1980) Published by Comely Comics, 68 pages, has a Sim 1 page pin-up of Captain Canuck.
Comics Festival!: Pages 4 - 7 feature Dave Sim and chester Brown's "untitled" which is a continuation of their piece from the World Tour Book (see reprints section).

Fantasy Quarterly: (1978) Published by Independent Publishers Syndicate, 40 pages, has a one page Sim pin-up.
Free Speechs: From Oni Press and the CBLDF in 1998, a B&W 48 page comic sized collection of speeches made by various on the importance of Free Speech. Sim did the back cover and Gerhard did the coloring for it. Also reprinted is Sim's intro for the Neil Gaiman's Guardian Angel Tour Reading entitled "The Story of Lulu According to Her Feet."

Krey # 2: By Gaunlet has a preview of Ali Baba by Steve LeBlanc with cover by Dale Keown and Dave (Cerebus) Sim with script input.
Marvel Fanfare (volume 1) #25: Sim did several pin-ups for it (called "Original Sim"): A kung-fu character, Howard the Duck, Moon Knight, Cyclops from the X-Men, and Iron Man (well, Tony in the armor, with a bottle in front of him from "Aardvark Distillers Inc. of Canada, his helmet is off and a skull behind him.). All of them are in color.
Oktoberfest #1: "Now and Then Presents Oktoberfest Comics is published by Now and Then Publications four times yearly." The inside front cover is The Beavers in "October" I'm going to assume this was a Sunday strip. The first story by Dave Sim and Gene Day is called Uncle Hans in Oktober Quest. It is an Uncle Scrooge type adventure. Next is a two page Uncle Hans strip, followed by a four page Beavers comic featuring Uncle Hans and finally Six pages of Cap'n Riverrat with story by Sim and art by Gene Day. The back page is a Beavers strip called "The Ticket" which makes reference to a local lottery called Winterio (which is referencing an old ad campaign). Most of the contents are copywrited by Harry Kremer except for the Beavers and Cap'n Riverrat.

Phantacea Phase One #1: Nov 1987 from McPherson Publishing Co, "The Launching of the Cosmic Express" art by Sim, from 1977, 13 pages. Here is a look at some of Sim's art.
Phantasy Digest #2: An 80-page digest-sized publications put out by fan publisher Hall Publications in 1977. Edited by Wayne Warfield, #2 features fiction by John Jakes (Brak the Barbarian) and Robert E. Howard ("Fangs of Gold"). The REH detective story is illustrated by Dave Sim. Sim also did the cover illustration.
Power Comics #1: B&W published by Power Comics Co. First Sim aardvark story (he only did the art) entitled "A Boy and His Aardvark" 5 pages. Later reprinted in a second printing. Here is the first five pages from the comic up on the Now & Then Times comic books store website.
Psycho #1 Annual: 1972. From Skywald Publishing, Dave did the contents page illustration.
Psycho 24: Winter special, March 1975, Skywald Publishing. "The Cry of the White Wolf" written by Dave Sim and illustrated by Stan Connerty.

Quack #3, 4 & 5: Published by Star*Reach. #3 has a cover by Sim (pencils) and Steve Leialoha (inks) of The Beavers. Questar #1: 1978, "Rogg!" 4 page story, Sim did the lettering for this Sci-Fi / fantasy book.
Rare Bit Fiends: By Rick Vietch. Rare Bit Fiends #1-8 were collected in the trade paperback "Rabid Eye". But I am not sure if any of the below shorts by Sim and Gerhard made it into the trade. Revolt 3000 #1: Dave did the art for this, but it never was published. There were four stories to be printed. 2 of them were later reprinted in Otto Space. The other two "Crimson Alpha" and "Raven and Trout" have never been published.
Shi: Senryaku #1: Features different artists versions of Shi and the "36 Statagems of the Chinese art of war." Sim did a page for this comic.
Space Wars: Apr 1978. "War Games" by Gene Day with lettering by Dave Sim.
Spaced #8: The inks and background by Dave Sim are on page 9, panel 4. He only did one panel in the book as a contest to see who could spot it.

DC Bulletin Vol 1 #1: Published by Alan Orr, 4 8.5" X 11" pages stapled together, unknown date. Dave contributed an article called "Drawing the Continued Characters" and two 1/2 page illustrations: one of Batman (rear cover) and one of Captain Marvel (aka Shazam). Both of Dave's illustrations are dated 1973.
Direct Currents #2: published by Current Publications, 1974. Sim did the cover and a two page article. Sim also had one page of art in issue #3.
ERB Collector #22: January 1994. BW. Dave only did the cover.
Edgar Rice Burroughs News Dateline #22: Dave did the cover of the Aardvark of Mars.

Gratis #1: from Ontario, 1979. Has an interview "Dave Sim: The Man Behind the Aardvark" and includes a number of drawings. Cover by Sim.
Graphic Visions : #2 published in Sept 1975. Here is a picture of all three issues with Sim content. #3, Nov 1975, a couple Sim pin-ups: one of a full page Superman and one of Green Arrow, Captain Marvel, Superman and one of Howard the Duck. The cover to #2 is by Dave and he also did a Spider-Man picture for #2.
Hero Sandwich #1: A funny comic fanzine put out by a couple brothers in Michigan in 1977. It has a couple fun strips written and drawn by kids, couple articles on upcoming comic news, various ads. But the biggest claim to fame this fanzine has is that it sports a Pre-Cerebus cover by DAVE SIM of Dr. Strange. Pretty rare and hard to find.

National Advisor: Dave did some art for this DC fanzine based out of Texas.
No Sex Science Fiction / Fantasy Fanzine #10: Edited / published by David Heath Jr. Dimensions: 8 1/2" X 5 1/2", 1978. Dave did the back cover to this issue.
Now & Then Times: Dave was the editor for this fanzine, published by the comic store he used to work at in 1972: Now and Then Books. This is his first published work:
- Now and Then Times #1: From 1972 , a bunch of articles, an interview and an illustration by Sim.
- Now and Then Times #2: Stuff by Sim: Editorial, a T. Casey Brennan article & interview, a Wayne Boring biography, and a couple more interviews.

Amazing Heroes #42: A profile on Aardvark-Vanaheim, 10 pages a two page Sim / Cerebus article. Cerebus cover on the cover.
American Journal of Anthropomorphics #1: A large magazine (8.5 X 11 inches), 1993. with an interview with Sim. Full color covers, black & white interiors, about 102 pages.
Ark: Published in the UK, 1990, 8" by 10.5", 170 pages. Some minor Sim and Gerhard content.
Arken Sword #19: 1986, 6 page interview (part one) and a 5 page article on Cerebus.
Arken Sword #20: Part two of the Dave Sim interview.
Austin Chronicle: April 16, 1993, tabloid, with a full-color Dave Sim / Martin Wagner cover and feature story in which Wagner interviews Sim. The cover pic is large to download. It looks like it has been folded, but it is just how it was scanned in.
Bild & Bubbla: Feb 1996. Published by Seriefrämjandet, a Swedish magazine about comics. pages 12 - 20 have some Cerebus / Dave Sim material.
Broken Pencil #4: Winter 1997, reprints the first couple of pages of the interview "Whatever it is, I'm Against it" from Filler #4.
Cahiers de la Bande Dessinée, Les #68: March-April 1986, a 5 page interview plus a presentation of Cerebus and Sim (4 pages). During the eighties, this magazine was the support of an intellectual and serious critical discourse about european comics. In French.
Combo #10: November 1995, published by Century Publishing Company. 3 page interview with Dave.
Comic Book Rebels: A trade paperback collection of interviews. There was a limited edition of 750, which was signed by seven creators (Alan Moore, Dave McKean, Dave Sim, Neil Gaiman, Frank Miller, Steve Bissette, Stanley Wiater, and Will Eisner) and came with a slip case. The picture of the signatures is blurry, but should give you an idea of what it looks like. The book, by Wiater and Bissette, deals with the changing face of the American comic book and the place that the various creators have within the evolution of comics. Taken from the collection: "Here, in twenty original interviews, leading figures in the field discuss how, approaching the graphic novel from an often daringly radical taboo-breaking perspective, they transformed it into a significant medium - at once art and literature - of our popular culture." Comics Journal: You can go here to order some backissues directly from TCJ. Right now it looks like #77, 82, 83, 103, 181, 184, 192, and 223. Lots of good stuff there ('specially the big ones of 82 & 83 and 184 & 192.).

From Gerhard about the cover: "That is a composite photo of the upstairs hallway with an office at each end. Mounted on the wall in the middle is the original cover art for CEREBUS JAM. At the back of the house on the main floor is a studio-apartment setup that Dave moved into a couple of years ago. So it is the A-V office and Dave's home." And yes, they will be correcting the spelling error on the cover before publication.
